Quality Control Technician 2nd shift

SUMMARY:?


Performs line inspections and quality control functions as assigned by the Quality Control Supervisor and/or Quality Control Manager to assure all products manufactured by National Enzyme Company meet established standards for purity, composition and quality.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Attendance and attention to detail are keys to performing the job.




  1. Assists in policy and procedural compliance throughout the manufacturing process as related to established quality standards.

  2. Performs pre-operation line approval in all production areas.

  3. Takes weight checks periodically to determine that Encapsulating/tableting machines are properly dosing.

  4. Inspects in-process and finished product for defects and gathers samples for testing.

  5. Performs any additional customer required quality control checks in Production to assure compliance with established specifications.

  6. Assist as needed, the sampling and releasing of incoming raw materials.

  7. Assists in maintaining and retaining samples of raw materials and finished goods in an orderly manner.

  8. Performs environmental sanitation sampling.

  9. Assist Quality Control Supervisor in maintaining Quality Control Hold Log and keeping designated Quality Control hold areas organized.

  10. Assist as needed in the monthly retest or sampling of materials.

  11. Release products to ship as required, after all batch records have been reviewed & approved, and all testing is completed.

  12. Complete verification of order approval for Scheduling.

  13. Assist in equipment IQ/OQ completion.

  14. Assist with investigations, collection and storage of retain samples.

  15. Checks all packaging (Bulk powder) work orders against the PFL?s.

  16. Approve work order folders for Scheduling.


High school diploma or GED. Prior knowledge helpful but not required.




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
